MTB WOMEN’S ONLY BEGINNER RIDE 910 RANCH, EAST CANYON ROAD TO MORMON FLATS
Thursday, July 23, 2026
Meet: Intersection of Jeremy Road and Daybreaker Drive Entrance to 910 Ranch Property, by the cattle guard for an ontime departure of 8:30 am. The cattle guard at the intersection of Jeremy Road and Daybreaker Drive. Note: Jeremy Road becomes East Canyon Road (labeled N.E. Canyon Road on some maps) at this point. Parking: Ample parking is available on Jeremy Road or just past the cattle guard on East Canyon Road.
MTB Ride: A supportive, women’s-only, no-drop out-and-back ride. The group moves at a casual pace, and no one is left behind. The road is packed dirt and gravel. It is highly beginner-friendly and shared with runners, dog walkers, and occasional vehicles. At mile 4, the group will stop at Mormon Flats Campground (equipped with picnic tables and pit toilets) to eat snacks and explore the historic Mormon Flats trailhead and Fort Wells remains. Total ride: An approximate 8-mile round trip with approximately 500 feet of climbing.
Women’s MTB Group & Day Trips: We are currently exploring interest in establishing a dedicated, ongoing women’s-only MTB group. In addition to our local Park City rides, we would love to coordinate day trips to explore trail networks outside the immediate PC area. We will use this ride to gauge interest, discuss ideas, and use our coordination channel for future carpools and route planning.
E-bikes: E-bikes are welcome.
Bring: Calorie-packed snacks, plenty of water, a bike tube, tire levers, a pump, and sunscreen. Please ensure your tires are inflated to the recommended pressure before arrival. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.
Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), music boxes, speakers, earphones, or dogs.
Activity Release Form: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location. Signature, print name, club member (Y/N), your cell phone number and your emergency contact phone number.
Additional rides: If there is sufficient interest a 07/30/26 a beginner+/ intermediate ride will be posted.
