MTB WOMEN’S – ADVANCED BEGINNER ROUND VALLEY – R.S.V.P. APPRECIATED
Thursday, July 30, 2026
Location: Highland Drive Trail Head, Round Valley.
Directions: Exit I-40 at Silver Summit, left on Highland Drive to the parking lot at the end that overlooks I-40. This is NOT the trailhead by the bike park and church.
Meet: Highland Drive Trailhead Parking Lot for an 8:30 am on-time departure. We are departing early to avoid heat.
Ride: Distance: ~6.5 miles, Elevation Gain: ~550 ft.
Route: Round Valley Express ➔ Rambler ➔ PorcUclimb ➔ Rambler ➔ Seventy 101 ➔ Coyote ➔ Big Easy Flow Downhill ➔ Round Valley Express
What to Expect: This is a supportive, “no-drop” ride for women, meaning we’ll keep a casual, fun pace and no one gets left behind! It’s a great fit for advanced beginners. The trail does feature a few switchbacks and rocky sections, so it isn’t recommended for first-time riders. Come ride with us!
e-bikes: E-bikes are welcome for those who qualify. E-bikes are allowed in Summit County for people 65 and older or if you have mobility disabilities.
Bring: Calorie-packed snacks, plenty of water, a bike tube, tire levers, a pump, and sunscreen. Please ensure your tires are inflated to the recommended pressure before arrival. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.
Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), music boxes, speakers, earphones, or dogs.
Activity Release Form: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location. Signature, print name, club member (Y/N), your cell phone number and your emergency contact phone number.
