MTB MODERATE+ RIDE JOHNS 99 – YOU MUST RSVP TO ATTEND

Meet: Old Town Transit Center at 9:45 AM to catch the 10:06 AM Empire Pass Bus (Purple). From the Empire Lodge we’ll ride the Johns 99 to PCMR. If you miss the bus, you miss the ride.
Limited Bus Spots: Smaller buses on Fri, Sat and Sun.
Ride: We will ride from Empire Lodge to PCMR via Sam’s, Little Chief and Johns 99. Once at PCMR we will coast to the PCMR Base via an alternate route other than the regular Jenni’s trail. Estimated mileage is less than 10 with an elevation gain of less than 500’. This is NOT for brand new riders; you must have a working understanding of mountain bike riding skills.
Bring: Calorie packed snacks, plenty of water, bike tube, tire levers, pump and sunscreen. Please make sure that your tires are pumped up to the recommended tire pressure. Knee and elbow pads recommended.
e-bikes: No e-bikes please.
Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), Music boxes, speakers and / or earphones, or dogs.
Activity release: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location. Signature, print name, club member (Y/N), your cell phone number and your emergency contact phone number.
Must: Check the online Club Calendar for updates regarding the ride in case of bad weather or trail conditions
