Friday June 28 – Moderate Plus Hike Big Mountain via The Great Western Trail (Listed as “Bald Mountain via The Great Western Trail” on AllTrails)
Meet at PC Bagels in Pinebrook, Quarry Village, 3126 Quarry Road, Park City, UT 84098 8:15am for an on-time departure or at the trailhead at 8:45 am. The trailhead is located at Exit 134, East Canyon, (Mountain Dell off I-80). Travel 8.4 miles on UT-65. The parking lot and trailhead are on the right (there is a big cell tower).
This is a 6.8 mile out and back hike with an elevation gain of 1,627 ft over rolling hills. It will take 4-4 1/2 hours. Hoping for beautiful wildflowers and the views are guaranteed spectacular.
Please note that there are some exposed areas so it can get hot.
Remember the four hiking essentials and bring plenty of water.
We will lunch/snack at the top.

All participants must sign the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the leader.
If the weather is questionable on the morning of the hike, please contact the leader to see if the hike has been cancelled.
