Moderate MTB Ride – Bonanza Flat Loop – YOU MUST RSVP TO ATTEND

Meet: PCMR parking lot (east side) for an on-time departure of 10:30 am. We will proceed to the Bonanza Flat parking lot from there. The Bonanza Flat parking lot is located on SR 224 (aka Marsac), 5 miles south of downtown PC, near Guardsman’s Pass. Parking is free for people with an 84060-zip code. It’s $5 an hour for all others. Carpooling is encouraged.
Ride: 5 miles, 639 feet of elevation gain. Riding time should be 1-1.5 hours.
Summary: Bonanza Flat closes on October 1 for seasonal wildlife calving. We still have time to squeeze in one more ride to enjoy the spectacular colors.
Bike level: Moderate riders only!
Bring: Calorie packed snacks, plenty of water, bike tube, tire levers, pump and sunscreen. Please make sure that your tires are pumped up to the recommended tire pressure. Knee and elbow pads recommended.
Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), Music boxes, speakers and / or earphones or dogs.
e-bikes: E-bikes are welcome for those who qualify. E-bikes are allowed in Summit County for people 65 and older or if you have mobility disabilities..
Activity Release Form: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location. Signature, print name, club member (Y/N), your cell phone number and your emergency contact phone number.
Must: Check the online Club Calendar for updates regarding the ride in case of bad weather or trail conditions.
