MODERATE HIKE – ROCKY TOP TRAIL
Tuesday May 26, 9 AM – 12 noon
Departure from the trailhead will be at 9 AM. The trailhead is at the intersection of Rock Cliff Rd and State Rd 32. See Google Maps link here. This will be an out and back, moderate hike on a well-defined trail of almost 8 miles total. The trail has a gentle incline with about 900 feet of elevation gain. We will make stops along the way and will take about 3 hours. Cell service may be questionable. This can also be a “Choose Your Own Adventure” hike because the trail has no forks or turns. You can turn around at any point so that the length of the hike meets your needs. Dogs are welcome. Be sure to apply sunscreen as this hike is in the sun. Plus, bring plenty of water and a snack to enjoy at the peak of Rocky Top. The hike leader will bring the Activity Release form to be filled out by all participants.
