Tuesday July 14 – Moderate Hike – Rob’s Trail, Rosebud Heaven, Ambush Loop
Meet at Rob’s Trailhead, 2500 block of Bear Hollow Drive at 8:30 AM for an on-time departure. There is limited parking at the trailhead, so car pooling from the Community Church parking lot at the bottom of Bear Hollow Drive is encouraged. The trailhead is 1.4 miles up Bear Hollow Drive. The trail is a well defined trail. This will be a lolly lop hike up Rob’s Trail to Rosebud Heaven and then onto Ambush and back to Rob’s Trail.
The hike is about 6.4 miles with about 1100 feet elevation gain.. We will hike at a moderate pace of 2.0 mph with stops along the way to take in the views. This hike will take about 3.5 hours.
Dogs are allowed. There is cell service for most of the hike. Bring a snack to enjoy at the top of Rob’s.
Bring the four hiking essentials.
All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the leader.
If the weather is questionable on the morning of the hike, please call or text, not email, the leader to see if the hike has been cancelled.
