Moderate Hike – Great Western Trail

Meet at Jeremy Ranch West Park and Ride Lot. We will carpool to the parking lot. If you want to meet us there, take I-80 Westbound to exit 134, turn R on UT65 and drive 8 miles up to the parking lot. Meet us at the trailhead by 8:40 am.
We will hike about 4.5 miles, with 980 feet of elevation. There are ups and downs in both directions. The pace will be very moderate to easy going up at about a 28-minute mile pace, with many breaks on the uphill sections and time for photos, as the wild flowers are starting to bloom. Hike should take about 2.5 hours.
No dogs on this hike, as it is in our watershed. Please bring the four hiking essentials, as noted on the club website.
All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity Release Form, which will be provided by the leader.
If the weather does not look good on the morning of the hike, contact the hike leader(s) to see if the hike has been cancelled – text or cell. Please do not select email communication for the morning of the hike.
