MODERATE HIKE – CROW’S NEST VIA HUBER GROVE TO EPPERSON (WASATCH STATE PARK)

Meet at Quinn’s Junction (near the restrooms) at 9 AM to depart to the trailhead at the Visitors Center at Wasatch State Park for a 9:30 start on the trail. If you plan to meet the group at the trailhead, please be there by 9:20am. You will need a Utah State Park Pass for parking at the Visitors Center, otherwise it is $10 per car ($5 for seniors). Since I live in Midway, I will meet everyone at the Visitors Center. Those meeting at Quinn’s Junction, please organize yourselves for the drive to Midway.
This is a lollipop hike of about 5 miles and with an elevation gain of 1167 ft. The pace will be 2 mph. The trail is a steady climb and hard packed. We will hike the loop counter-clockwise and will stop at two vistas along the way for snacks. With rest stops, please allow 3 hours for the hike, plus driving time.
Please bring the four essentials, as noted on the club website, especially snacks and water.
Dogs are allowed on this hike. Please check the club calendar the morning of the hike, in case of cancellation due to weather.
All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity Release form which will be provided by the leader.
