MODERATE HIKE – CLYDE LAKE LOOP IN THE UINTAS
Wednesday, September 30, 8:45 am
Meet at the Kamas Food Town parking lot at 8:45am for an on time departure of 9:00am or at 9:30am at the Crystal Lake Trailhead (mile marker 27 off the Mirror Lake Highway).
We will car pool from Food Town to the Crystal Lake Trailhead.
The hike is a 5 mile loop with about 551 feet elevation gain on a well defined path. The hike will take 3.5 to 5 hours at a moderate pace with stops along the way, This is a pretty hike with several lakes along the way,
Bring a snack or lunch to enjoy at one of the stops.
A national park pass must be displayed when parked at the trailhead.
Dog are welcome!
Bring the four hiking essentials listed on the Club’s website and be sure to include a rain jacket and bug spray.
Do not count on cell service when in the Uintas.
All participants must sign the Club Activity Release Form which will be provided by the leader.
