Wednesday, July 23rd – Moderate hike on Bonanza Loop Trail
Meet in the parking lot of the old Holiday Village Cinemas for an on-time departure of 9:00 am. New parking fees at the trailhead will be in effect (for those without an 84060 parking pass) so we will try and consolidate to as few cars as possible. Parking is $5 per hour; please plan to chip in to pay your share.
This is a moderate 5.3 mile loop trail with an elevation gain of 646 feet. The trail is new and well maintained; the moderate rating is more for the length than the difficulty of the actual hiking. The hike will take approximately 3 hours with a stop in the middle – bring a snack.
