Moderate Hike-Armstrong Trail, Out and Back

Meet at First Time Parking Lot at PCMR. The closest intersection to the lot is Silver King and Lowell.
We will walk about 0.4 miles from the parking lot and pick up Armstrong Trail and then do an out and back to the parking lot (where an ‘end of hike’ surprise awaits). The hike is 5 miles with 650 feet of elevation, pace will be very moderate to easy going up at about a 28 minute mile pace, with many with water breaks and time for photos as the aspens are gorgeous on this hike. Hike should take about 2-2.25 hours.
Dogs on leashes are welcome. Please bring the four hiking essentials, as noted on the club website.
All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity Release Form, which will be provided by the leader.
If the weather does not look good on the morning of the hike, contact the hike leader(s) to see if the hike has been cancelled – text or cell. Please do not select email communication for the morning of the hike.
