Meet at the Quinn’s Junction by the restrooms at 8 am  to caravan over to Strawberry Reservoir.  If you wish to meet at Strawberry Reservoir the meeting location is called the ladders on Ladders Road of f of Highway 40.

The “Ladders” (also known as the steps) at Strawberry Reservoir does not have a physical street address, as it is a public Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest fishing and water-access area located off US Highway 40 i
Location Details
  • General Location: Roughly 23 miles east of Heber City, UT, along US-40 in the Uinta National Forest.

Please meet and be ready to be on the water at 9 am . Your own equipment is required (kayak or sup).  Check the Water Sports page on the club website for everything you need to know about this activity (and please watch the club calendar for possible weather cancellations).

National Park pass is needed for this location or there is a 10 cash entrance fee.

Please bring lunch  and fishing equipment if you would like to stay after.

IMPORTANT:  If you plan to join this activity then you are required by the State of Utah to take this short 2026 Mussel-Aware Boater Program course before you come to join the activity.

Please email the activity coordinators(email details above) and let them know that you will be attending and how many people in your group. Please do this no later than Monday evening August 31. Note that there is limited cell service in this area so if you are running late plan accordingly.
