eMTB RIDE MODERATE+ – EXPLORATORY UINTAS – YOU MUST RSVP TO ATTEND

Meet: Yellow Pine Trailhead lot off Highway 150 in the Unitas, near mile marker 6, for an on time 9:00 am departure. Meeting place may change as soon as I get a count, I will send out the changed meeting place, any requests on what to ride? I’ve got several in mind.
Parking Passes: National Park pass or day use pass for Mirror Lake Highway is required for parking. Day use passes or season passes can be purchased online. For passes go to https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74405. Or, from your mobile device: yourpassnow.com. Search Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest.
Ride: We will explore the Forest Roads around the Unita area and beyond. These are motorized road with rocks, dirt, ascents and descents. This is a scenic and fun ride! Expect to be on the trail for 2-3 hours.
Bring: Calorie packed snacks, plenty of water, bike tube, tire levers, pump and sunscreen. Please make sure that your tires are pumped up to the recommended tire pressure. Knee and elbow pads recommended.
Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), Music boxes, speakers and / or earphones or dogs.
YES e-bikes: e-bikes are allowed on motorized roads.
Activity Release Form: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location. Signature, print name, club member (Y/N), your cell phone number and your emergency contact phone number.
Must: Check the online Club Calendar for updates regarding the ride in case of bad weather or trail conditions.
