SEMI-STRENUOUS HIKE: BRIGHTON PARKING LOT TO SUNSET PEAK

Meet at the Holiday Village Cinema Parking lot at 8:45 AM for an on time departure of 9 AM or at 9:30 AM at the main Brighton Parking Lot.
We will hike up to Sunset Peak from the Brighton Parking Lot. It is 5.8 miles out and back with 1975 feet in elevation gain on a well defined trail. The hike should take about 4 hours at a moderate pace.
Bring a snack or lunch to have at Catherine’s Pass, with an option to stop there or continue to Sunset Peak.
Dogs are not allowed in BCC due to it being a watershed.
Bring the four hiking essentials, as listed on the Club’s website.
All participants must sign the Club’s Activity Release Form which will be provided by the leader.
