MODERATE MTB Ride – Bonanza Flat
Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 8:30 AM carpool for 9:00 AM ride start
Meet: Two location choices for carpool, both of which will require about the same amount of time to get to the trailhead.
Park City: Meet in the parking lot of the former Holiday Village 4 Cinema
for an on-time departure of 8:30. Note for those of you who are newer
members, the former Holiday Village 4 Cinema is between Kearns Blvd and
Fresh Market and next to First Community Bank
Heber/Midway: Meet at Wasatch State Park, 1281 Warm Spring Road,
Midway for an on-time departure of 8:30 AM
Parking: Parking fees at the Bonanza Flat Trailhead will be in effect for those without an
84060 parking pass, so we’ll try to consolidate to as few cars as
possible. For those without a pass, parking is $5.00 an hour. Please plan to chip-in to pay your
share.
Ride Route: The Bonanza Flat route will be about 600 feet of climbing and approximately 5
miles. This is not a beginner ride.
E-bikes and Analog Acceptable: Class 1 E-Bikes are allowed if rider is
over 65 and or has disability.
Bring: Calorie packed snacks, plenty of water, bike tube, tire
levers, pump and sunscreen. Please make sure that your tires are pumped
up to the recommended tire pressure.
Activity release: All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity
Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting
location.
Check the online Club Calendar for updates regarding the ride in
case of bad weather or trail conditions.
