Directions to meeting place:
Go toward the restaurant: “The Lakehouse at Deer Creek” As soon as you get through the gate (this is the Deer Creek State Park: Island Beach day use area), make a right turn and follow the road 100 yds until it dead ends into a parking lot. We will meet there. You will need a state park pass. Let’s meet at 8:40AM, so that we are on the water by 9:00AM

Your own equipment is required (kayak or sup). Check the Water Sports page on the club website for everything you need to know about this activity (and please watch the club calendar for possible weather cancellations).
IMPORTANT:Â Â If you plan to join this activity then you are required by the State of Utah to take this short 2026 Mussel-Aware Boater Program course before you come to join the activity.
Please email or text  the activity coordinator(email details above) and let them know that you will be attending and how many people in your group. Please do this no later than Monday evening August 24th.
Please watch this closely for location updates due to winds and weather. Please note that we will go out early when the water is “calm” but be prepared to paddle if winds pick up.
