A Day at Sundance Resort: Scenic Horseback Ride OR Hike the Stewart Falls Lower Trail and then Apres-for-All at the Owl Bar

Sunday, October 18, 10 AM-2 PM

This will be a day where you can either horseback ride or hike, followed by lunch at the Owl Bar.

HOREBACK RIDE: Meet at the Sundance Stables which are two miles up Hwy. 92. After you pass the resort, you will sign a sign on your left that says “Stables” and another says “Nordic Trails.” Take that road on the left to the very end. Start time is 10 AM but get there 15 minutes early to sign the release form.

Ride Cost: $200 pp which DOES NOT include a 20% gratuity. Call or text Deb Black first and then Venmo Deb at @Debbie-Black-3 to secure your spot. No- Shows do not get a refund. Deb has pre-paid for six participants only but more could be added, if necessary. First come, first serve.

Dress: Closed toe shoes but boots with heels are best; no shorts; jeans are good; long-sleeve t-shirt or breathable shirt; appropriate layers for weather.

Ability : Confident beginners and up are welcome. We will only be walking because the trails are rocky.

MODERATE HIKE: Meet at the Stewart Falls Trailhead for an on-time 10 AM departure. Georgia Tarnesby is the horseback riding leader. Deb Black will lead the hike. No need to rsvp for the hike.
