Mary Jeanne (MJ) Chapman is heading up the 2026 tennis program this summer. There are 2 courts for play every other Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM, at the PC MARC (outside.). The courts will be available on June 10, June 24, July 8, July 22, August 5, August 19, August 26, September 2, and September 16.
If you would like to join us this summer in round robin play, please text MJ Chapman at 760-668-6633 to get on this summer’s list. (Although we already have 12 players who have committed, we like to keep a waitlist for obvious reasons. Contact MJ to be added to the master waitlist.) For regular players, text weekly the Saturday prior to the Wednesday that you want to play. You will receive confirmation of your request and a reminder will be sent 48 hours before date of play. Players who have been confirmed but later need to cancel, must find their own sub from the waitlist and text that name and phone number to MJ Chapman (760-668-6633.)
Players need to be at a minimum level of 3.0 – 3.5+ for all court play to be balanced. It is important that we have players each week, as there is a charge for the courts. If someone removes their name and doesn’t find a replacement, it affects the play for everyone – so please do find a sub for yourself!
There is a nominal court fee that everyone will share when checking in at the MARC desk, $8.00 for the court and $1.50 for the balls, for a total $9.50 per person. A liability waiver will need to be signed at the front desk by each player, as well.
