THE PCMSC ANNUAL PICNIC at JORDANELLE STATE PARK SAND PAVILION IS SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, August 14, 2026.
The State of Utah has issued an open flame ban for all state parks. Because of severe fire danger the picnic will be a pot luck format. If anyone would like to volunteer to bring pulled pork, beef brisket or brats please let Lori know. Please bring an appetizer, salad, main dish or dessert to share (like our TGIFs) and also BYOB. There are plenty of electrical outlets at the cabana if you have hot items that can be brought in a crock pot. Please understand the circumstances and the beautiful setting right on the beach, live music and lawn games will make it a beautiful night.
There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot so you might want to wheel your items to the pavilion.
You are welcome to come anytime that fits your schedule. We will set up tables for picnicking around 5:00 PM. There will be water, plates, cups, utensils and napkins supplied. Live music will be provided by Bruce Rounds and friends. Come early if you want and play in the water. There is a volleyball net set up on the sand. Please bring a volleyball or lawn games if you have them.
Bring a lawn chair if you’d like to sit on the sand or closer to the water.
The park has an entrance fee, so consider car-pooling.
