EASY HIKE – CIRCULAR HIKE AROUND MASONIC HILL

Monday 25th August  2025 – Easy Hike Circular around Masonic Hill

Meet at 10:00 in the small parking area on the right hand side as you go up Aerie Drive (see map) for an on time departure.

Tony Edwards will lead an easy hike. This will be a 3.5 miles loop hike with 502  feet of elevation gain at a 1.5 MPH pace and take about 2 hours.  There will be frequent rest stops.  NO ONE WILL BE DROPPED.  There is shade.  Great 360 degree views.  For a detailed map see https://out.ac/aeftX.  This will not be Olympic Race Walking event and there will be no medals awarded, not even a bronze.

To avoid any disappointment or failed expectations please note the distance and elevation in the description and view the route map.

Dogs are welcome, subject to local by-laws.  Haven’t a clue about cell service.  There is no restroom at the trailhead or along the hiking trail.

Please remember the 4 hiking essentials including good hiking or trail footwear.  Put on sunscreen, a sun hat, snacks and bring plenty of water.
