One of your members, Debbie Ulrich, recommended your club this winter. I was asking about hiking in the area, and Utah in general.
I’m 62, and live in Michigan. So I would be looking for moderate overnight and extended trips. My experience is as a segment hiker in the White Mountains of New Hampshire for most of my life, a peak bagger if you will pardon the expression. Also, I’ve climbed some in the Washington Cascades.
Does you club have anything that matches up for me?
    Best Regards,

      Dear Edward,
I thank you for your inquiry regarding the Park City Mountain Sports Club. As you probably noticed from our website, the club has an abundance of choices for outdoor activities year round. In the spring, summer and fall we will have several hikes each week. We will hike in the foothills and canyons above Salt Lake City in the spring and then move up into the mountains of Park City area as things dry out and warm up. During the summer, we also have hikes that go up into the Uinta range and the many lakes found there. If you check the website calendar you will be able to get information on specific hikes. You can join a hike several times and then we would ask you to join the club’s membership after a few activities. Many of the hikes are dog friendly and, I think, a great mix of people. We look forward to meeting you on the trails. –Howard Kantor
